"This hotel was outstanding it exceeded my expectations. I cannot complement the staff enough they fixed my reservation when we showed up a day early and were truly exceptional. The manager was great, the desk staff, your restaurant staff and the bartenders even took the time to answer my questions about different whisky and I even learned how whisky that is made in Scotland is spelled differently then whiskey made in other places. I cannot say enough or complement the staff enough for making our first two days in Scotland so wonderful. "

"Lovely stay with the family. The check in was friendly and quick. Our room was spacious, but the room wasn’t accessible as described. Getting the wheelchair through the door was tight, the bathroom wasn’t a walk in shower as advertised, it was a full bath with shower over it. We attempted to change it, but we’re going to be in a much smaller room and the bathroom was still not accessible. Sadly, this is a common occurrence with hotels. The word ‘accessible’ should only be used if an adult wheelchair can navigate it comfortably. Despite this, we had a lovely break. The beds were incredibly comfortable, the staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast had a bit of something for everyone, staff serving were polite and helpful and attentive to our needs. The hotel is in an excellent location with parking available. The pool was a massive selling point too. Perfect size for children and adults, and well maintained. "

"Great hotel especially since Leonardo took it over. Good location and nice bar & food. Good breakfast if a bit expensive. My room was on the tenth floor with a great view of the Clyde. The only slight complaint I have is that the lights weren't bright enough in the bedroom or bathroom."

First off, the place was super clean—both the rooms and the bathrooms were well-maintained, which made my stay so much more enjoyable. It's always a bit nerve-racking staying in budget accommodations, but this one definitely exceeded my expectations. I also felt completely safe while I was there. It’s great to travel and know you’re secure, and this hostel had some solid safety measures in place. The location couldn’t have been better! It was perfectly situated near all the must-see spots, which made exploring a breeze. And let’s talk about the staff—they were amazing! So friendly and always ready to help with anything I needed, whether it was a tip for a local restaurant or just checking in. Their warmth really made a difference! Overall, I had a fantastic experience and would definitely recommend this hostel to anyone looking for a clean, safe, and welcoming place to stay. Can't wait to return!"
